Achal Chaurasia

When 29 year old medical resident Achal Chaurasia from Bhopal read ‘Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness” by Mark Twain, a statement so simple and yet so profound and this is exactly what it did to his life. From a very young age traveling to various cities had excited him. Being in a small town the perspective of big city was alluring and this is exactly what he set his mind to while growing up. He opted to earn his degree in science though he always felt a deep seated tug to free travel bug within him. It was while he was in his residency training in one of the renowned hospital in Mumbai he decided to explore his deep seated interest that was calling out to him. He would usually volunteer for medical camp projects that were usually set in various rural areas of India.
